By ‘normal’ standards of the society I’m currently a participant of, I’m categorically considered an outlier. The more you zoom out in this society my views and opinions get more ridiculous contextually. I know it and I’ve accepted it. Being around me and engaging in a conversation with me, you find yourself disoriented at best and if you can’t follow anything I say you would want me to shut up and never say anything. I’m pretty lucky that my partner sees me and hears me and has this unbelievable tolerance for my bs. A few friends who are managing a similar kind of situation exist but for the most part usually they get transitioned into a mindless person who is desperate to blend in pretty soon.

Let’s be clear here I’m not blaming people or any particular person for this. Where I want to put the center of my attention to is a complex process that steers a nation and its culture. The mere ideas that brought about the foundation of an independent country that differentiates it from its neighboring countries. On these ideas are built the law, civil liberties, institutional contracts, etc. Ideas that worked and proved to be not as dangerous as they were once thought to be. That in fact these things were courageous and ambitious but also imbedded in truth which tend to produce value if implemented.

There are some here:

You can’t lie and ignore the fact you need to produce more than what you consume.

You can’t have a community that isn’t based on trust and law.

In a good constitution human rights are not given to us merely based on our cognitive superiority over other species.

There’s a good and a bad culture and we’re pretty good at defining and categorizing them.

You can’t know everything, therefore you can’t have institutions that dictate truth unconditionally.

Free speech is the most fundamental right that is not granted by the government but serving to contain it.

In totality I would like a substrate in which the disparity between Unconventional and Controversial is minimum.
